Our 2026 salary guide: A deeper, clearer look at our region’s market

We’re delighted to share that we’ve officially launched our 2026 Salary Guide — and this year, we’ve taken it further than ever.

For years, our annual guide has been one of the Eastern region’s most trusted sources of salary and market insight. As the world of work continues to shift, we knew it was time to evolve. Instead of producing one combined report, we’ve created a suite of dedicated brochures for each of our specialisms. This new format gives you sharper benchmarking, richer insight and a more accurate picture of what’s happening in the roles and sectors you recruit for.

This change reflects what we’re seeing every day in the market. We’re operating in a landscape where:

  • Specialist skills shortages are intensifying
  • Hybrid working is firmly embedded
  • Candidate expectations continue to rise
  • Organisations are under pressure to stay competitive and retain talent

In short, the labour market is moving fast — and employers need clarity they can rely on. That’s exactly what this year’s guide provides.

Across each brochure, you’ll find:

Region‑specific salary benchmarking for 2026

Insight into hiring trends, skills demand and candidate behaviour

Commentary from our consultants, grounded in real conversations with employers and jobseekers

Practical takeaways to support your pay, benefits and workforce planning decisions

We’ve always believed that good recruitment is rooted in good data. But great recruitment, the kind that strengthens organisations and supports long‑term growth, comes from combining data with lived expertise. This guide reflects both. It’s informed by thousands of placements, hundreds of employer conversations and the deep sector knowledge our teams bring from across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk.

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve created this year. It’s more comprehensive, more accessible and more reflective of the realities employers are facing. We hope it becomes a resource you return to throughout 2026 — whether you’re reviewing salaries, planning headcount, shaping benefits packages or simply trying to understand where the market is heading.

The full set of brochures is now available to explore: Click here to access your copy.

We’re excited to share them with you — and even more excited to see how they support your decisions in the months ahead.

If you’d like help interpreting the data or applying it to your organisation, we’re always here to talk.
