After graduating from university in 2019, Alex took a number of short term roles in accounts and payroll and most recently spent 6 months as an employment advisor. Alex is our Accounts Assistant responsible for payroll and is studying accountancy qualifications.
Alison joined Pure in 2006 to set up the office support division having started her recruitment career in 1996 recruiting temporary office staff. Alison prides herself on her high level of customer service and on forming long-term client partnerships and is responsible for temporary/contract office support roles.
Amy has been working in recruitment since 2009, covering Finance and Legal sectors, before joining Pure in April 2015. Amy is responsible for senior accountancy interim and permanent roles.
Andrea joined Pure in January 2018 after relocating from London where she was previously working in recruitment. Andrea has 6 years of recruitment experience across a wide range of sectors and has joined Pure to work as part of the office support team.

Having joined Pure in 2015, Andy works with clients and candidates within our Accountancy specialism, recruiting for Qualified Accountancy roles, specialising in the recruitment of CFO’s, Finance Directors and Financial Controllers. His experience and knowledge combined with his focus on partnership with client and candidate ensure he delivers an excellent level of service.
Head of Finance
Annette joined Pure in 2006 to establish the Finance department and now leads the team with responsibility for all aspects of financial control and reporting at Pure. Annette is a CIMA qualified accountant and has over 20 years’ finance experience with extensive knowledge in the recruitment and employment industry.
Senior Compliance and Quality Assistant
April started working at Pure Norwich in March 2011, having previously worked in the hospitality industry. April works as Senior Administrator supporting the Norwich office and companywide responsibilities including compliance.
Quality & Compliance Administrator
Becky started working in recruitment in 2015 and joined Pure in January 2021. Becky works from our Norwich office but has responsibility for overseeing and supporting companywide compliance processes.
Senior Managing Consultant
A graduate in Business Economics, Becky has over 20 year’s recruitment experience. Having joined Pure in 2010, Becky specialises in recruiting HR professionals at all levels from Advisory, Business Partners to Directors across the Norfolk region. Becky also co-founded the specialist HR group HR Energy which provides networking and training opportunities for HR professionals.
Ben graduated from Lancaster University in 2002 with a 2.1 in Advertising and Marketing.Ben joined Pure in 2011 and has been key in the growth and development of our business in Essex.Ben leads on HR recruitment across the Essex area, working with professionals at all levels within, HR, OD, L&D and talent management.
Caroline joined Pure in 2002 at the beginning of our journey. As Director, Caroline is co-manager of the Cambridge office as well as leading the Human Resources team. A graduate from Manchester University, Caroline started her recruitment career in 1999 within the HR, Professional Office Support and the Accountancy sectors.
Caroline is responsible for temporary Finance recruitment and joined Pure in 2009. Prior to this, Caroline recruited for commercial and public service businesses across East Anglia, focussing on interim recruitment within Office support.
Charlotte joined Pure in January 2020. This is her first role in recruitment and she looking forward to venturing into a different career path. Previous to joining pure, for the last 3 years she was working in a residential care home looking after the elderly. Charlotte specialises in administrative support for the Cambridge office.
Senior Recruitment Consultant
Claire joined Pure in 2011 working within the Office Support division. With extensive consultancy experience within the office support market, Claire has been recruiting successfully for a diverse mix of clients in Norwich. Before joining Pure, she spent over 12 years working for two prestigious consultancies in London.
Claire began her career in recruitment in 2017 following 8 months of travelling and 5 years working in the hospitality industry. Claire joined the Chelmsford team in 2019 to recruit for temporary and contract transactional accountancy roles for the whole of Essex. She enjoys building lasting relationships with candidates and clients.
HR, L&D Administrator
Dani joined Pure in 2008 as an administrator to support the rapidly growing Cambridge office. In 2015, Dani joined the HR team and now supports the learning and development of our team at Pure.
David joined the recruitment industry in 1999 following graduation with an Honours degree in Occupational Psychology. He joined Pure in 2003. He has oversight of the Cambridge operation as well as delivering a number of value-added seminars and steering groups within the Charity and Not For Profit sectors. David also leads Executive recruitment in these sectors. David also chairs a Cambridgeshire charity.
Emily began her recruitment journey in 2017. She started working for a global recruitment agency specialising in commercial recruitment for both temporary and permanent roles. Emily joined Pure in November 2019 to work in the Professional Office division and is excited about what is to come! Emily enjoys building long term relationships with both clients and candidates.
Fiona joined the Pure team in 2015 as a Recruitment Resourcer before shortly moving on to become a consultant. After working within HR & Office, Fiona joined Accountancy and Finance and now looks after permanent Finance roles in Suffolk and North Essex.
Gemma started her career in recruitment in 2014 initially working as a Resourcer, progressing to a Consultant in 2015. Gemma joined the Ipswich team in 2018 as a Recruitment Consultant and recruits Office Support, Financial Services and Marketing roles up to £25,000pa across Suffolk.
Gemma started her recruitment career in March 2014 and joined the accountancy team in Cambridge. Gemma began her career in recruitment as a resourcer, quickly progressing to managing her own portfolio of clients.
Chief Operating Officer
Gill is a founding Director of Pure and has worked in recruitment since 1988, including eight years of specialist recruitment experience within an international specialist recruitment company and five years working within financial services recruitment in Sydney, Australia. Gill’s approach is to provide clients and candidates with the highest quality of service. She has a consultative style which has led to her building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.
Senior Managing Consultant
Joining Pure in 2013, Hannah has extensive knowledge of the Essex market and is extremely well networked within the area. Working in recruitment since 2001, Hannah specialises in part qualified and qualified accountancy within the interim market.
Harry started in recruitment in 2017 having started in Office support and then moving into Public Sector HR. His approach to recruitment is to offer a proactive yet tailored service both to candidates and clients to ensure business and career goals are met to ensure a lasting partnership. He joined Pure because of the culture and the level of service that is delivered to our customers. Harry will be recruiting for IT positions in Norfolk.
A founder member of Pure, Ian has worked in specialist recruitment since 1990, initially for a national recruitment firm growing their Accountancy recruitment business and then their Public Sector Executive recruitment brand. Alongside running Pure he has advised on the following types of appointments: CFO & FD roles, Partner appointments for Mid-Tier and Regional firms, and CEO/MD roles for privately owned firms.
Jade began her recruitment journey in 2014 within a large social work agency in Ipswich, working on temporary positions. In 2017, she joined a local recruitment company and was responsible for permanent recruitment across office support in and around the Ipswich area, and was promoted to Branch Manager. Jade then worked within a local authority recruiting within social services, before joining Pure in 2021 to recruit temporary and permanent positions in our Professional Office specialism.
Jamie joined Pure in July 2018 as a Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant. Prior to this, he spent 3 years studying Economics at the University of East Anglia, achieving a 2:1 in his studies.
Jenny started her career in recruitment in September 2013 focussing on interim IT placements. With over 5 years of experience within the interim IT sector, Jenny joined Pure in February 2018 as an addition to the Tech team focussing on the interim market. Jenny covers placements within technology on a contract, fixed-term contract and temporary basis within Cambridgeshire.
Learning & Development Coordinator
Jessica joined Pure in June 2018 due to team expansion within our Accountancy and Finance division. Recruiting across Norfolk area, Jessica currently specialises in senior transactional and part-qualified accountancy positions, including Payroll. Before joining Pure, Jessica recruited across East Anglia for 3+ years’ focusing on Finance and Education sectors.
Resource Team Manager
Joanna started recruiting within the Cambridgeshire area in 2009 for a broad range of private and public sector clients and during her time with Pure. She is currently responsible for recruiting temporary finance professionals, across Cambridgeshire.
Jodie started her recruitment career in 2000. She joined Pure in 2005 to launch their Suffolk operation as co-Manager of the Ipswich office. She is currently utilising her experience and relationships to develop the Ipswich office’s Executive and Senior Finance division.
Jordan moved to Norwich in 2016 to study Intercultural Communication with Business Management at UEA, graduating in 2019. He moved into a recruitment role, recruiting within the IT industry in Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex, before moving to Pure. Jordan enjoys finding candidates new roles, taking them through the process from application to the day they start their new job and beyond.
Joseph has over 30 year’s specialist recruitment experience. Joseph joined Pure in March 2005 and specialises recruiting Interim and Permanent Finance Directors, Controllers, Heads of Finance and other senior management, board and executive appointments.
Marketing and Communications Manager
Judith has worked in marketing for 20 + years across a range of industries from health and fitness, horticulture, GIS software, education and now recruitment. Judith joined Pure in 2017 and is responsible for marketing the business, marketing strategy and delivering initiative campaigns.
Karolina is an experienced Recruitment Specialist, having worked in the industry since 2015. Karolina started her career within the engineering and food manufacturing sector however found her love for Sales and Marketing recruitment which she has focused on since 2016. Karolina continues her passion within her role at Pure, focusing on Marketing and Digital appointments on both a permanent and temporary basis.
Learning and Development Advisor
Katherine joined the office support team in 2008 recruiting permanent Office Support roles before moving to support with HR recruitment. Kath now works in the Pure Learning and Development team delivering high-quality training to new starters joining the company, as well as existing teams.
Kathryn Van Wyk
Senior Recruitment Consultant
Kathryn started in recruitment in 2007, beginning in Construction and Property, moving across to finance and then setting up a new office in Northampton. She then managed an office support recruitment team for 18 months and then returning to a temporary Finance desk. Kathryn joined Pure in 2021 for the culture and ethos of the business, customer service and what we deliver to our candidates and clients.
Kelly joined Pure in 2007, after two years at a specialist national recruitment agency. Kelly recruits senior accountancy permanent and interim roles.
Kelly joined Pure in 2019 as the Finance Manager. She started her career in 1991 and has worked within the finance industry for over 28 years. Kelly manages the Finance team and is responsible for the Management Accounts.
Laurie has worked in recruitment for the past 5 years, covering both temporary and permanent roles within office support. Prior to this, she worked as a Practice Manager within the private health care sector, following on from a long period in Retail Management for the Arcadia Group. Laurie joined Pure in January 2020 and recruits Office Support roles within our Ipswich office.
Senior Executive Assistant
Lucy joined Pure Executive in 2014 to support the Executive Recruitment team with research and administration of Executive and Board level appointments, as well as facilitating and organising events.
Lynn is a founding Director of Pure and leads Pure Executive with over 25 years recruiting for Executive appointments. Lynn supports East of England-based businesses with senior management and Board level recruitment. Lynn leads the Best Employer Eastern Region Initiative and the Women In Leadership Programme both of which are aimed at helping companies and people to develop.
Mark began his career in recruitment in 1998, working for a national specialist accountancy recruitment firm. Mark has a wealth of experience in recruiting a wide range of clients in the Cambridge area.
Senior Managing Consultant
Mark started his recruitment career in 2002. Mark joined the Pure team in Cambridge to specialise in permanent finance recruitment. He joined Pure because of their reputation of offering an honest professional service in the market place.
Miranda began her career in Customer Care with John Lewis in 2007 whilst studying for her A Levels. Miranda joined Pure in 2012 as part of the Accounts team, she now recruits HR clerical roles in Cambridgeshire.
IT & Projects Manager
Nadia has been with Pure since 2006 after completing her A Levels. During her time at Pure, Nadia has developed the IT infrastructure and operations for Pure, managing our website and client and candidate experience
Nancy started a career in Accounting in 2017 working as Accounts Administrator. Nancy joined Pure in January 2018 to work as an Accounts Assistant and is also working towards her AAT qualification. Nancy is responsible for supporting the accounts team with Credit Control, Sales Ledger, and Purchase Ledger.
Senior Accounts Assistant
Natalia joined Pure in 2015. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Marine Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Science of Economics. Natalia is responsible for the Credit Control of our Norwich and Ipswich offices.
Paul is a co-founder of the Ipswich office of Pure, has worked for the business for over 12 years and recruits in the HR market in Suffolk and North Essex. A graduate of Nottingham Business School, Paul has worked in the East Anglia recruitments market for nearly 20 years. As well as specialising in HR recruitment, Paul manages the Ipswich office and is a Business Director for Pure.
Rachel started her career in Recruitment in June 2015, after graduating with a 2:1 in Psychology from Brunel University. Having previously recruited across a number of specialisms for a variety of industries throughout the UK, Rachel now specialises in permanent transactional accountancy roles at Pure for the whole of Essex.
Rebecca began her career in recruitment in 2018, having previously worked in sales and customer services roles. She was recruiting for IT support in the Suffolk & Essex markets before joining Pure in 2019. In her time as a consultant, she took a shine to resourcing for candidates and loves the process of building relationships with them, and is utilising this fully in her role as a resourcer for the Norwich office.
Ruben recruits IT and technical support roles in Norwich. Ruben graduated from University of East Anglia in November 2014 with a degree in Business Management. Prior to joining Pure in October 2016, he worked as an IT Recruiter, specialising in Software Development and testing and will be recruiting for IT and Marketing positions.
Ryan has worked in recruitment since 2016 recruiting temporary workers in the NHS and Local Authorities. Ryan has joined Pure to take on a new challenge within our Technology division.
Scott is a Director at Pure. He joined Pure in 2004. Having specialised in senior finance recruitment for a number of years, Scott now leads the Technology, Marketing and Digital recruitment division, and recruits senior management and Board level IT appointments in the East of England.
Sophie started her recruitment career back in July 2018 whilst completing a Business and Administration apprenticeship at a legal recruitment agency, having previously worked in customer service and hospitality roles. She joined Pure in July 2021 as a Recruitment Resourcer in the HR and Professional Office team and is ready to dive headfirst into new challenges, putting candidate and client needs first.
Stephen joined Pure in February 2020 with 10 years of experience in IT recruitment across East Anglia. He recruits for IT temporary, contract and interim roles across the region, and has a wealth of experience in this area. Stephen's technical background, having worked in IT before entering recruitment, allows him to quickly understand client briefs, and the challenges they face in finding the right people.

Tom believes in building open relationships and taking the time to understand individual recruitment needs. Tom has been working in the recruitment industry since 2006, and joined the Ipswich team in 2013. He specialises in temporary Accountancy recruitment across Suffolk & Essex.

Prior to recruitment, Giles spent his early career working in a variety of operational roles for TUI, living between the French Alps in the winter, and Greece in the summer. He started my recruitment career in 2017, and have since specialised in recruiting for Accountancy & Finance appointments across Norfolk.
