Moving up at Pure

We’re really happy to report the latest Pure promotions. Kathryn Van Wyk is now a managing consultant, while Jessica Dalton-Brown takes on the role of learning and development advisor.

Kathryn Van WyckMore about Kathryn

Kathryn joined Pure in 2021, attracted by our culture and ethos, and the great service we offer our job seekers and clients. She started her career in construction and property recruitment in 2007, moving across to finance and setting up a new office, for her then employer, in Northampton. She went on to manage an office support recruitment team for 18 months before returning to finance.

The energy, determination and knowledge Kathryn brings to the Pure family is second to none, as is the service she offers her clients and jobseekers. Senior manager Mark Wishart says: ‘What Kathryn’s achieved this year is outstanding. She’s a joy to have in the office, always supporting others and giving them her time. She’s a great role model for her team and the company as a whole.’

Jessica Dalton-BrownMore about Jessica

Jessica’s been with us for four years, having previously recruited across East Anglia for finance and education roles. When she joined us she worked in accountancy recruitment in Norwich for three years before transferring to the learning and development team in July 2021. Over the past 12 months she’s become a real asset to the team. She now leads inductions across Pure, as well as working with our Chelmsford and Norwich offices, and running various projects. She’s just signed up to take her CIPD level 5 in learning and development as well.

Jessica’s had lots of positive feedback from different areas of the business for the way she delivers training. She’s quickly become an important part of both our graduate programme and our Bullhorn development team.

Ben Farrow, our operations director, says: ‘Jessica sets herself really high standards, and works hard to improve both herself and the work she delivers. We’re looking forward to seeing what the next 12 months has in store for her.’
