Suffolk based trainee accountant Josh Yasar has won the Pure Resourcing Solutions (Pure) sponsored Kaplan Financial Student of the Sitting Award for Ipswich.

The annual award, which is run by the financial and accountancy training company Kaplan Financial, has been sponsored by professional recruitment specialists Pure for five years. It is given to trainees from the East of England who have shown outstanding qualities in their particular region when studying for their accountancy qualification during the previous year.

Josh Yasar works for Ipswich based timber importers Anglo-Norden Forest Products Ltd and has spent the last two years studying prior to winning the Kaplan Financial accolade.

Winner Josh, who is originally from Turkey and only moved to East Anglia shortly before beginning his studies said; “Kaplan Financial really are amazing and I am so grateful to the huge support that my tutors have given me over the last two years. I have enjoyed my studies immensely and feel honoured to win this award, I am ecstatic!”

In recognition of the award, Josh was presented with an iPod Nano courtesy of Pure. Craig Cordle, Recruitment Consultant at the Ipswich Branch of Pure Resourcing Solutions, commented: “We are really pleased to be involved in recognising new talent in the region and the awards are an excellent way of rewarding the hard work necessary to achieve professional qualifications.”
