Pure Resourcing Solutions swoops Marketing Award

Having just revealed the winning businesses in the Best Employers Eastern Region 2012, organisers Pure Resourcing Solutions has now scooped its own accolade in recognition of its successful marketing of the project.

The recruitment company, which has offices in Cambridge, Norwich, Ipswich and Chelmsford, has been presented with the Marketing Campaign of the Year Award at the Chamber Awards, East of England.

Pure Resourcing Solutions, in conjunction with psychometric testing experts eras Ltd, developed the Best Employers survey, awards and seminars concept to find and celebrate the region’s best employers. The judges were impressed with the marketing behind the campaign which was developed to celebrate the diverse mix of businesses in the Eastern region and to ensure it reached as many employers as possible.

Using a variety of marketing techniques, Pure Resourcing Solutions reached out to businesses across the region to promote the initiative which aims to put the Eastern region on the map as a great place to work.

Lynn Walters, director at Pure Resourcing Solutions and driving force behind the Best Employers initiative, said:

“We had an amazing take-up for the initiative in its first year with almost 100 businesses and over 5,000 employees getting involved, which showed that the marketing behind the campaign worked.”

Anna Hill, Marketing Manager at Pure Resourcing Solutions, added:

"As this was the first year of the Best Employers initiative, our main marketing objectives were to gain a high profile for the program across the Eastern Region, promote the benefits and engage businesses to get involved. We decided to create a brand for the project and use an extensive marketing mix to gain the profile and the reach we needed including using social media channels, video, direct e-shots and PR. The challenge has been to pull the different strands together to present a fully integrated marketing campaign. It is fantastic to have our work recognised with the Chamber award”

Pure Resourcing Solutions now has a chance to represent the region at the national finals in November. All businesses shortlisted for the finals will also have a chance to win an Outstanding Business Achievement award and a £25,000 cash prize.

President of the British Chambers of Commerce Martyn Pellew said:

“There has never been a more important time for businesses to showcase the amazing work they are doing on a day-to-day basis. “The Chamber Awards is a perfect platform for them to do just that and receive the recognition and profile they deserve for helping move the economy forward and create employment, often in local areas.”
