Suffolk and North Essex is bucking the gloomy economic outlook - says Sophie Grimes from regional recruitment consultancy Pure Resourcing Solutions.

Recruitment consultant Sophie Grimes and marketing manager Anna Hill are the two latest recruits to further strengthen specialist professional services recruitment consultancy Pure Resourcing Solutions' Ipswich office.

Sophie, who will further enhance the company's specialism in HR recruitment, firmly believes that, despite the economic outlook, jobs are available for suitably qualified candidates.

She added: "The start of the year has seen quite an uplift in HR recruitment. The region benefits from a variety of sectors and employers ranging from large financial services to manufacturing."

Sophie, from Ipswich, has more than 14 years experience in recruitment roles. Having worked in London and Sydney for a multi-national firm, as well as running her own recruitment business, she was delighted to secure a role at Pure Resourcing Solutions. "I was attracted to the company because of its values and ethos," added Sophie. It's an extremely professional business. I get on well with all three founding directors and I liked the way they were so visible and hands-on with the candidates."

The consultancy's new marketing manager, Anna Hill, will work across all of Pure Resourcing Solutions offices in Norwich, Cambridge, Ipswich and Chelmsford. Anna, from Cambridge, will be responsible for a wide range of activities across the marketing mix including brand, marketing communications, social media and direct marketing.
