Pure Resourcing Solutions, proud sponsors of this new category, aims to celebrate those companies who are seen as the best to work for because of their culture, values and leadership styles.

The category is open to businesses with at least 50 staff whether on a single or multiple site.

Lynn Walters, co-founder and director of Pure Resourcing Solutions, said the new category was one the business felt a particular affinity with.

“Employers want employees who will do their best work and ‘go the extra mile’,” she said. “Employees look for jobs that are worthwhile and that inspire them. More and more organisations are looking for a win-win solution that meets their needs and those of their employees. What they increasingly say they are looking for is an engaged workforce”

 “We have since hosted a number of forums on employee engagement through our Best Employers initiative in association with eras ltd. At these events we seek to offer insight to enable organisations to be the best employer they can be so that they can get the most from their staff and teams. The dynamics of managing a small, single site office is different from the challenges of larger organisations, we welcome entrants from organisations that either have a minimum of 50 staff on either single or across multi-site,” she said.

“We are looking forward to meeting the region’s best employers and seeing what they do differently to get the best from their teams.”

The awards will culminate in a Gala dinner and ceremony on 7 November 2013 at Norfolk Showground

Award Criteria

A new category at the awards this year, judges will be looking for a business that demonstrates a clear vision and understanding of what keeps teams motivated and engaged.

They will also be looking for evidence of strong internal communication and evidence of how staff are kept informed and made to feel included in the success of a business, listened to and have the ability to influence.

The judges will also want to see how the organisation recognises and rewards exceptional performance and what sets it apart as an exceptional employer, including any community or charity work in which it is involved.
