Marketing recruitment thrives on experience

The new marketing recruitment team at Pure Resourcing Solutions is flourishing, nine months after launching to fill a gap in the recruitment market.

Pure Resourcing Solutions launched its new marketing division in October 2011, in response to demand from current and potential clients, and to capitalise on the existing skills within the experienced and professional recruitment team.

Since the division launched the marketing team has worked with a number of key clients including Napp Pharmaceuticals, chartered accountants Peter Elworthy & Moore, law firm Birketts LLP and Cambridge Building Society to place candidates in roles varying from Marketing Assistant through to Group Brand Manager and Marketing Director.

Led by Lydia Seymour, a Managing Consultant based at Pure Resourcing Solutions' Cambridge office for the last six years, the marketing team now also boasts the skills of Rebecca Ewers. Rebecca has more than 20 years experience in recruitment and has joined Pure Resourcing Solutions to strengthen the marketing division as demand continues to grow.

Lydia said: "As part of our regular business review we identified specialist areas with a growing business demand and the need for experienced marketing professionals has never been stronger with the rise of digital marketing. Marketing recruitment complements our other professional recruitment disciplines ensuring we broaden the service we offer our existing clients in addition to gaining new clients.

Pure Resourcing Solutions' ethos is based on providing excellent customer service, with equal emphasis on candidates and employers which we believe sets us apart from many other recruiters in the area We've had some excellent feedback from candidates and employers with regards to our approach to building relationships with them and the proactive support we provide throughout the recruitment process."

Collette Hobson, Recruiter International HR at Proquest, said she would have no hesitation in recommending Pure to other organisations:

"Lydia Seymour and the team at Pure Resourcing Solutions work in partnership with our organisation; "They are professional and continue to produce good results time and time again. Because they have taken the time to get an insight into how we work they are very successful in their ability to place people with the appropriate skills and experience within our team."

Ellee Seymour a candidate who was placed by the marketing team comments:"The team is extremely conscientious at finding the right fit and very professional in their approach. Their knowledge and advice with regards to the marketing industry is invaluable. It is a pleasure to do business with Pure Resourcing Solutions."

Lydia believes it is the company's consultative approach which drives the success of this division: "We work in partnership with employers and take the time to gain an insight into how they work and exactly what they are looking for in a candidate to ensure the best fit for everyone. Our existing clients, who already appreciated our consultative approach, have been delighted that we have now been able to support them with marketing roles. We have also had excellent comments on our levels of service from the new clients we have worked with across the region."

Since launching the division Pure Resourcing Solutions has also teamed up with Cambridge Marketing College tutors to run marketing seminars. The first in the series was given by Tony Wilson entitled Market Strategy for Technology Companies, which was very well attended by local marketers who gave some very positive feedback. Spurred on by the success of the first seminar, the team are planning to hold another seminar aimed towards technology companies in the Cambridge area in September, with full details to be announced at the end of July. The marketing team continue to look for opportunities to add value within this industry for candidates, clients and the up-coming marketing stars of the future.
