Better Together: Our MoonWalk Journey
On Saturday 16th May, nine members of our team took part in the iconic MoonWalk in London. An event celebrating 30 years of raising awareness and vital funds for breast cancer.
It was a truly special experience, and one that reflects something we care deeply about as a business, making a positive impact beyond the workplace.
The MoonWalk brings together thousands of people each year, all united by a shared purpose. This year, we joined over 5,000 participants walking through the night, each with their own reason for taking part and their own connection to the cause.
Covering 26.2 miles, the route took us through some of London’s most recognisable landmarks. From Battersea and the Embankment, to The Shard, Big Ben and St Paul’s, before continuing through Chelsea and Kensington.
Walking through the city together, with such a strong sense of community around us, made it a memorable and uplifting experience.
While the miles added up and the early hours tested us, what stood out most was the atmosphere. The encouragement from others, the shared determination, and the knowledge that every step was contributing to something meaningful made it all worthwhile.
As a team, this was an opportunity to bring our values to life.
At Pure, we embody our values every day by being “Better Together” and "Making a Difference” and this felt like a genuine reflection of both. Supporting one another throughout the walk and working towards a shared goal made the experience even more rewarding.
We’re proud to have raised over £4,000 for a cause that impacts so many lives.
More than anything, taking part in the MoonWalk was a reminder of the importance of coming together, as colleagues, as a community, and as individuals, to support something bigger than ourselves.
A huge thank you to everyone who supported us, donated, and cheered us on along the way.
