Supporting amazing causes with fun festivities
Actively supporting our local communities has been dear to our heart from day one. We encourage our teams to make a difference in people’s lives in their work but also by participating in causes where we can give something back.
Throughout December, our teams have been raising funds for local causes. Here are some of the activities we were involved with and supported through the festive period.
Instead of posting Christmas cards, each of our offices sent an ecard and donated £50 each to:
- Ipswich office - The Sunrise Appeal (Ipswich Hospital)
- Norwich office - East Anglian Air Ambulance
- Cambridge office - AGE UK
- Chelmsford office - Cancer Research.
Our head office team have taken part in a reverse advent calendar for Jimmy’s Night Shelter in Cambridge. Each day of December, the team brought in a little something to gift, such as toiletries, warm clothing and snacks, to create a lovely box of goodies to donate for Christmas.
Our Ipswich office collected food items for the Love Ipswich Christmas Hamper Appeal, which delivered 235 Christmas Hampers to vulnerable families in Ipswich.
We proudly took part in wearing our Christmas jumpers for Save the Children and St Elizabeth Hospice Woolly Pully week.
Our internal Jostlemas countdown to Christmas has raised donations for South East and Central Essex Mind, Age UK, Lennox Children’s Cancer Fund, The British Blue Cross and The Benjamin Foundation. Jostlemas is an internal holiday campaign that we run on our intranet, Jostle®, which aims to build engagement and great communication, whilst making the most of festive fun!
To date, Pure has raised £167,320.71.
We are proud to be Pure.
