Join Pure at the Ipswich 10th anniversary charity quiz night in March

Pure Resourcing Solutions will be holding an extra special charity quiz night in Ipswich on Thursday 3 March, as this year’s event also marks a decade since the professional recruitment agency first opened an office in the town.

The 10th anniversary quiz will be held at the Novotel Hotel in Ipswich and teams of five are invited to enter and take part in a fun-filled battle of the brains. The team entry fees and money raised through a raffle, which includes a twilight spa prize for two people at the Ufford Park Hotel in Woodbridge, will be donated to charity.

This year the event will be in support of Ormiston Families a leading charity which provides services to support children and young people in the East of England, managing the challenges they face and improving their life chances. Last year the Ipswich charity quiz night raised over £1,500 for the Papworth Trust, a leading disability charity.

The 2016 Ipswich charity quiz night will be the first in a series of charity fundraising events designed to celebrate the office’s ten year anniversary. The Pure team will launch its #IpswichBig10 anniversary campaign at the quiz, an initiative in which employees have committed to completing different events to raise money for 10 local charities this year.

Paul Sheldrake, Manager, said: “We’re looking forward to celebrating our ten year anniversary with local businesses and clients at our quiz night. At Pure we’ve always been committed to supporting our charity partners and we’ve now raised over £100,000 for worthwhile causes. When deciding how to mark our anniversary it seemed apt to create a special campaign which showed our ongoing support for the many organisations in our region which provide invaluable support to people in need.”

Two more charity events have already been confirmed as part of the #IpswichBig10 campaign. Two teams of ten people from Pure have courageously signed themselves up for the ‘Only the Brave’ event on 20 March, an extremely muddy obstacle course race which raises money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance. A team from Pure will also be entering the Ipswich Colour Dash Race in aid of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices on 29 May.

The Pure team is continuing to discuss and research other events to complete the series of ten charity challenges. They are also welcoming suggestions from local charities of events which could be included in the campaign.
