Fantastically festive knits help to raise money for local charities

There was a definite festive feeling across the Pure offices on Friday (16 December) as team members sported their best Christmas jumpers in aid of local charities.

The Pure team swapped their normal office attire in favour of silly seasonal sweaters and fantastically festive knits, in return for a donation to charity. The Ipswich team chose to donate the money raised in their offices to St Elizabeth Hospice, as part of the hospice’s own Woolly Pully Week fundraising drive. In Cambridge, the team collected donations for STARS, a local bereavement support and pre-bereavement support to children and young people and in Norwich the team used the opportunity to collect money for Norfolk’s cancer charity The Big C.

Gill Buchanan, director and co-founder of Pure, said: “Christmas jumper day is a great way to get a festive feeling in the office in the lead up to the big day. But there’s also a serious side to all the silliness of seeing colleagues in their chosen seasonal jumpers. The donations raised will make a big difference to some of the fantastic organisations who are working hard to support local people this festive season and all year round.”
