Ipswich Businesses Raise Money for Papworth Trust at Pure Annual Charity Quiz Night

Pure Resourcing Solutions (Pure) hosted a fun-packed annual charity quiz last night (Thursday February 26th) at the Novotel hotel, Ipswich, raising £1,611 for Papworth Trust, a leading disability charity.

Teams such as Quiz Team Aguilera from The Fuelcard Company, Happy Rambler from Ipswich Hospital, Quizzly Bears from Crane attended the evening of friendly rivalry, which was organised by Pure - one of the East of England’s leading recruitment consultancy businesses.

A tie saw two teams sharing the quiz crown, Pound Gates and Haven Power, with each lucky team member winning a bottle of champagne. A raffle also proved popular with superb prizes including a £50 lunch voucher from Packhorse Inn, afternoon tea for two at Paddocks House and a back, neck and shoulder massage from Baiss and Co.

Paul Sheldrake, Co-Manager of Pure’s Ipswich office, said:“The evening’s success surpassed our expectations and I’d like to thank all of the businesses that contributed to the event. All teams were amazing in demonstrating their generosity -and intelligence – for a highly regarded charity.”

Jo Revitt, Corporate Partnership Fundraiser of Papworth Trust, added: “On behalf of everyone at the charity, I’d like to thank the quiz teams and Pure for raising funds to help us to provide high-quality services for disabled and disadvantaged people. Fundraising like this enables us to deliver a range of services including care in and out of the home, rehabilitation after injury and home adaptions to suit individual needs.”

Pure is committed to its charity partners across the region and has raised £81,197.68 to date.
