The challenge

Amanda, a payroll administrator, had been let go by her previous employer. The redundancy wasn’t handled well, and as a result her confidence was at an all-time low. She wanted to change career paths from accountancy to an admin role, but wasn’t sure where to start. So she came to Pure.

The solution

Amanda’s CV landed on the desk of Claire Bush, a senior recruitment consultant at our Norwich office. Claire’s been with us since 2011 and had previously spent over 12 years working for two prestigious consultancies in London. After getting to know Amanda, Claire understood that she was keen to stay away from finance and move into an admin role, but also that she was battling with her self-belief.

Within a week she’d found her a new job temping in office administration. As Amanda says: ‘Finance isn’t my field and I’d been wanting to get back into administration for a while.
