Pure is delighted to be supporting a Guinness World Record attempt for the longest ever fashion show in aid of The Blossom Charity.
The Blossom Charity has taken on the huge challenge of organising the mammoth 30-hour charity event which would break the current Guinness World Record for the longest-ever fashion show. The record-breaking attempt will help to raise funds for the charity to continue its work in supporting women in the East of England to be the best they can be.
Continuous fashion shows will take place at the beautiful Woolverstone Hall near Ipswich from 3pm on Friday 13 October right through until 9pm on Saturday 14 October. Pure is sponsoring the Gold Shows between 5pm and 11pm on Friday 13 October and will be helping to set up the event and providing backstage support. Some Pure team members may even be taking to the catwalk as models.
Lynn Walters, Executive Director at Pure, said: “We’re really pleased to be involved in this event as we’ve often collaborated with Bridget McIntyre, founder and trustee of The Blossom Charity, and we fully support the charity’s mission to help women who would like to make their lives work better. The Blossom Charity has sponsored a 50% funded place on our Women’s Leadership Programme for three years now, making this course more accessible to aspiring female leaders working in social enterprises and not-for-profit organisations across the region. This is a great commitment from them and now this fund-raising fashion show is an excellent opportunity for us to support them in return.”
The Blossom Charity helps women in a variety of different ways, from helping to improve confidence and build new skills through to supporting them to launch a new business or to tackle the ongoing challenges of running their own business. People are invited to attend some or all of the fashion shows to help raise funds for the Charity to continue providing this ongoing support to women in the region.
