Pure team's colour dash in aid of EACH
Sunday, June 7, saw the team at Pure take part and get messy in the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) Ipswich Colour Dash.
As well as taking part in the run itself, Pure pledged their support for local children and young people with life-threatening conditions by providing helpers on the day to greet participants and marshal the event along with helping with the set-up and clean-up.
Paul Sheldrake, Manager, from Pure in Ipswich, said: “We were delighted to have the opportunity to support EACH at the Ipswich Colour Dash event. We have a great long-standing relationship with the charity having supported it since 2002 across three of our offices in Ipswich, Norwich and Cambridge. The whole team, and their families, had a fantastic day and were proud to play a part in helping to raise funds for this inspiring charity”
Patsy Johnson-Cisse, EACH Suffolk Fundraiser, said: "The atmosphere was just excellent and I’d like to say a big thank you to all the volunteers who helped out and to our sponsors Pure Resourcing Solutions who have been a great help in the run up to the event and on the day. EACH has so many loyal supporters and it was great to see many familiar faces from last year’s run taking part again. It shows what a fun family event this is! EACH cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions and supports their families – all the money raised will go towards providing these vital services."
There was no rest for Pure this weekend as it saw Pure’s Managing Director, Ian Walters, complete the Norfolk Superhero challenge, which consisted of a gruelling 1-mile swim, 4-mile kayak, 45-mile cycle and 8-mile run all in aid of RNLI Lifeboats.
