Pure hosted a fun-packed annual charity quiz night last night (Thursday November 13th) raising £1,300 for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity (ARHC).

The evening saw brainy businesses gathering at Menzies Cambridge Hotel and Golf Club in Bar Hill to raise money for the Cambridge based charity dedicated to providing specialist palliative care and support to adult patients and their family, friends and carers.

Teams such Quizzy Rascal from PWC and Clever Girls from Napp Pharmaceutical Holdings Ltd turned Einstein for the evening to answer brain-busting questions however it was Displaylink, that claimed the quiz crown for the second year running and third year overall, with each lucky team member winning a bottle of champagne. A raffle also proved popular with superb prizes including gift vouchers from Inders Kitchen, The Pint Shop, Moonstone Massage and an engraved piston from Cosworth.

In the lead up to the charity quiz Pure auctioned the all new SE Santana guitar from PRS Guitars which was snapped up for a fantastic £375 by a team member of Ensors with proceeds going to ARHC

All care at the hospice is provided free of charge so we rely on fundraising like this to enable patients and those close to them to live as fully as possible, and make the most of the time that remains”
