Cash for questions as Pure's Quiz night raises £1,400 for charity

For the 8th year running, Pure Resourcing Solutions, professional recruitment specialists, have successfully hosted their hugely popular local charity quiz night last Wednesday, 17th November 2010 at The Menzies Cambridge Hotel and Golf Club in aid of EACH.

28 local organisations from both the private and public sector, including Sepura, Birketts and PWC competed in the general knowledge competition. The closely fought quiz was won by Taylor Vinters, whose team all received a bottle of champagne each.

The successful night raised over £1,400 for local charity EACH - this brings the total over the last seven annual quiz nights to over £10,000. The quiz is part of the company's long-term commitment to raise money for the charity which has included activities such as breakfast seminars, fashion shows, parachute jumps and fun runs - raising an incredible £32,000 for the charity since 2002.

David Culley, Associate Director and compere for the night said: "The annual Pure Charity Quiz night has gained quite a following and interest in the event and this year was no exception. We'd like to once again thank all the local organisations who entered and their generosity in raising such a huge amount of money for local charity EACH- who do so much for terminally ill children and their families."
