A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Sales & Office Administrator to join a friendly and dynamic team, based in Dereham, working either 8:30am to 5pm (1 hour lunch) or 9am to 5pm (30 mins lunch).

It will be your job to organise and supervise all the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running of the UK office.

The list of tasks required on your behalf are as follows:

General office tasks

•          Opening and closing of offices.
•          Reviewing and supervising timesheets.
•          Recording office expenditure.
•          maintaining the condition of the office and arranging for necessary repairs.
•          Organising the office layout and maintaining supplies of stationery and equipment.
•          Organising office maintenance and repair.
•          Managing filing systems.
•          Reviewing and updating the company's health and safety policy and arranging checks.
•          Training new staff.
•          Discussing problems with staff.
 
Purchase and sales tasks:

•          Liaising with customers, suppliers, and transport companies
•          Planning and monitoring the storage, delivery, and dispatch of orders
•          Overseeing stock control and processing orders
•          Fulfilling objectives and directions from the operation's headquarters
•          Coordinating the use of automated and computerised systems
•          Responding to and dealing with customer communication by email and telephone
•          Keeping stock control systems up to date
•          Planning future capacity requirements
•          Organising the recruitment and training of staff
•          Producing regular reports and statistics when required by headquarters
•          Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment, overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment
 
Key requirements:

•         Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Sage 50
•         Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills
•         Excellent command of English (both verbal and written) are essential
•         Strong numeracy skills and excellent eye for detail
