One of the fastest growing tech businesses in the UK is looking for someone to join them to support with the not for profit entities of the group. This is a varied role and would suit someone who has a minimum of three years Accounts experience. Ideally candidates will be studying towards an Accounts qualification however this isn't essential. QBE's will also be considered. This position will lead the transactional accounts side of the function but will also get involved in month end tasks. The business support their workers and make it their mission to be a great place to work. They are very flexible and will consider flexible hours and are flexible on the place of work. You would be required to go into the office once or twice per week. This role is joining an exceptional team who are very welcoming and provide full training to new staff members. They eve offer parking with their central Cambridge location!

Duties
·         Oversee processing and review supplier invoices, credit card transactions, and staff expenses 
·         Set up payment of all supplier invoices and staff expenses, send remittances to suppliers, and manage direct debits 
·         Be responsible for adding all new staff to the system
·         Bank reconciliations for all the company bank accounts
·         Raise customer invoices
·         Submit gift aid claims
·         Assist with the preparation of month-end accounts, including prepayments, accruals, intercompany reconciliations and fixed-asset management
·         Build and maintain the Foundation’s preferred supplier list and manage supplier relationships
·         Provide general administrative support to staff as required
·         Provide additional support where required while other members of the Finance team are on holiday

Experience and personal attributes
·         A trainee accountant studying for AAT, ACA, CIMA or equivalent qualification
·         Experienced in using accounting software 
·         Well-organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively
·         Customer-focused, an excellent communicator, and able to build strong internal and external customer relationships
·         Able to work with precision and excellent attention to detail
·         Able to use your own initiative and solve problems
