Reporting to the Reward Manager, this role will support the development of the organisation’s Reward Strategy and associated remuneration policies closely aligned to the broader HR and operational strategies.
You will be responsible for -
- Implementing pay and progression schemes
- Providing specialist advice on reward expertise to the HR Division and employees
- Reviewing existing and developing new organisation wide reward initiatives.
- Providing detailed papers and reports to senior committees for the development of new strategies.
- Analysing and presenting pay and benchmarking data to inform the organisation wide reporting and decision making and to support the development and implementation of reward policy and procedures.
- Supports the delivery of Employee Relations including pay and reward policy consultation and negotiation as required
The role will report to the Reward and ER Manager and has key service and operational relationships with the wider HR team.
About you?
- Experience of interpreting and producing high quality, accurate management information, including the provision of recommendations and report writing.
- Experience of managing reward programmes.
- Project management experience.
- Experience of working in a public sector, unionised environment ( ideally, not essential)
- Experience of working to tight deadlines.
- Advanced excel and data manipulation skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Degree level qualification and or CIPD or equivalent experience
