Quality and Environmental Controller

I am recruiting for a new role of Quality and Environmental Controller for my client based in Eye.  This is a full time, permanent position and onsite working is required Monday-Friday.  


Daily duties will include: 

• Ensure compliance is maintained with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
• Provide competent advice to the company on all Quality and Environment Management System related matters 
• Control all aspects of the procedure and policy systems related to the role. 
• Use the Quality and Environmental Management systems to measure performance and identify any areas of weakness 
• Recommend and implement improvements where necessary 
• Monitor effectiveness of the ISO quality and environmental management systems 
• Drive continuous improvement in business systems and processes.  
• Co-ordinate the setting of Quality and Environmental targets and objectives 
• Manage and develop the internal audit systems within required time frames 
• Manage the case management system 
• Deliver ISO training for employees 
• Manage all aspects of the publication of QHSE documentation on the intranet and keep all information up to date 
• Contribute to all Health and Safety duties and provide advice and training where necessary  
• Any other duties relating to Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures  

Requirements for the role: 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Good administrative skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines 
• Excellent MS skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Teams 
• Proven experience in controlling Quality and Environmental Management Systems 
• Ability to produce reports
• Ability to Develop Quality and Environmental Management related Procedures and Policies 
• An ISO systems background 
• Comfortable dealing with both internal and external stakeholers 
• Ability to mentor and influence others
