Pure are working exclusivity with a exciting global client due to growth, who are looking for a Purchasing & Procurement Assistant to join their busy Procurement team.

The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to the purchasing, engineering and finance teams.

Main Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Creating and monitoring Purchase Requisitions and issuing Purchase Orders direct to suppliers
  • Updating Purchase Requisitions and PO data on the company database
  • Support departments to obtain quotations or technical information
  • Maintaining and updating the product database when required
  • Checking invoices received against purchase orders and resolving discrepancies with suppliers
  • Adding new suppliers to the system 
  • Receipting orders and raising discrepancies with the Procurement Manager
  • Liaising with the international Branch to ensure purchase order records are up to date
  • Supporting with any new system implementation to ensure records are transferred correctly
  • 2 years experience within a purchasing/procurement role
  • Strong Administration skills
  • Purchase ledger/inventory ledger knowledge would be desirable 
  • Experience using SAP or Xero would be a desirable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communicator
  • Reliable
This role will be hybrid, 2 days office and 3 days remote, full Time.
