Pure are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Officer for an Ipswich based client.  Initially being recruited on a four month fixed term contract this role offers hybrid working and the chance to work with a professional and collaborative team.

This opportunity has a leadership element to the role and will suit someone who has had line management experience previously. 

Duties include:

  • Manage the daily activities of the accounts payable team
  • Prepare the weekly supplier payment run
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Code monthly credit card statements for journals
  • Chase approval for authorisation of invoices
Knowledge and experience required:

  • Ability to deal with complicated queries
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Ability to deal with pressure & support others during pressurised time
  • Able to work on own initiative with minimal support & is pro-active
  • Confident to ask for help as & when required
