A drug discovery business based South of Cambridge are currently looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them for a period of 6 months. This role will work alongside a Purchase Ledger team lead supporting them with day to day transactional tasks. The company offer flexible working but you would be required to go into the office atleast two days per week. They have excellent on site facilities but due to the location of the organisation, candidates will need to drive to access the site.
The main duties of the role are as follows:
- Coding invoices
- Processing invoices
- Reconciling statements
- Preparing payments
- Reconciling the bank
Candidates must have previous Accounts Payable knowledge and must be able to start work ASAP. This role will use an ERP system so previous knowledge of working with these packages is essential. The role will also include some Excel work so good knowledge of that is also desirable.
