Pure are currently supporting a successful business in Ipswich with the recruitment of a purchase ledger clerk for an initial four month fixed term contract.  Our client is based on the outskirts of Ipswich and offer hybrid/remote working.

This position sits within an established and supportive finance function and requires someone who has previous purchase ledger invoicing experience.

The main duties will include:

  • Code and load all purchase ledger invoices
  • Chase approval on outstanding unapproved invoices
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Allocate monthly transactions on direct debit supplier accounts
Knowledge and experience:

  • Previous experience (at least 2 years)
  • Confident and with ability to pick things up quickly
  • Hard working & able to work in fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service approach
  • Team player
