Project Controller

The role of Projects Controller has arisen to support the growth and enhance project delivery capabilities for my client based in Eye.  This is a great chance to join an established Projects team who take a proactive lead in managing projects sold on a global basis into various applications and industry sectors.  

As Project Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are efficiently and proactively managed through the company post order.  

Daily duties will include: 

• Ensure the company meets commercial and contractual requirement effectively for projects 
• Contribute to the development of systems that delivery projects that meet or exceed customer expectations 
• Ensuring the projects are met on time, at cost and mitigating risk to the business 
• Support continuous improvement activities
• Promote a right-first-time culture 
• Comply with policies, procedures and processes 
• Deliver high service levels in internal and external customers 
• Support the sales team during pre and post order negotiations 
• Use project planning tools to identify deliverables and milestones for projects 
• Prepare clear and concise status reports 
• Communicate project status with relevant department 
• Report concerns on projects where necessary
• Any other duties that may be requested to meet the needs of the projects 

Requirements for the role:

• Strong leadership and teamwork skills 
• Ability to work under pressure and manage your own workload 
• Excellent IT and communication skills 
• Self motivated and the ability to make decisions and adapt 
• Proven work experience in a projects or similar role 
• A strong work ethic with an in-depth understanding of the role of a projects controller
