Pure have the pleasure to be recruiting a Payroll Manager for one of the region's most successful businesses.

Based on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, this rare opportunity will involve the following tasks:

To provide leadership and management of the payroll department to ensure that salaries and associated contractual matters for employees are processed accurately and in a timely manner, compliant with local tax authorities’ requirements.

To act as the payroll expert to support and lead the upgrade of a new HR and payroll platform. This will include specifying and executing relevant testing in the development and implementation to ensure the integrity of payroll.

To coordinate and manage the complete payroll function consisting of a monthly UK payroll and foreign monthly payrolls with wage payments in various currencies and pay frequencies.

To develop and maintain payroll guidelines, updating policies and procedures as required.

To ensure that operational requirements are completed by effectively managing departmental employees.

To analyse and report on financial data and manage pensions, healthcare and death in service schemes

Developing the skills, knowledge, and expertise of all direct reports.

To maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending informational workshops and reviewing professional publications.

Production and review of monthly payroll information as part of monthly accounting cycle

The successful applicant will have the following skills:

3 years plus experience in all aspects of processing complex UK payrolls, end to end, dealing with UK tax arrangements and managing a payroll team

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Work to deadlines and under pressure.

Highly computer literate in all aspects of ICT.
