Salary£25000 per annum
I am recruiting for a Logistics Co-ordinator to join my client based in Norwich.  

Working as part of the operations team, this role will be pivotal to ensuring all goods are dispatched and delivered on time.  

Duties and responsibilities: 

  • Planning and managing logistics to include warehouse, transportation and customer services coordination 
  • Directing and orchestrating all product movements 
  • External and internal liaison with hauliers, warehouse staff, colleagues and other departments 
  • Keep track of delivery times, transport costs and efficiency 
  • Plan optimal routes and process shipments 
  • Resolve, monitor and find solutions for any arising problems or delays from hauliers, customers and all other contacts 
  • Booking deliveries with hauliers and couriers across UK and Europe 
  • Managing a small team of in house UK drivers 
  • Ensure customer services and operations are kept regularly updated on the status of deliveries 
  • Work closely with customs agents to ensure smooth clearance process 
  • Manage haulier accounts 
  • Supporting the operations team where necessary 

Requirements for the role: 

  • Ability to work under pressure 
  • Accustomed to working in an ever changing environment 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Experience in complex logistical planning and import/export would be desirable 
  • Ability to work as part of a team 
  • Strong MS Office skills 

This is a full time, permanent position in Norwich and the role is hybrid working with on average one day a week in the office in Norwich.
