Are you passionate about learning and development?
Reporting to the Senior L&D Manager, forming part of the L&D team, this role will play a crucial part in the delivery of the mission of the business by developing its greatest asset – the skills and experience of its people.
Engaging with employees and those in the community, you will gather and analyse their learning needs, design blended learning solutions, create engaging programmes to meet learners’ needs, ensure excellence in delivery of the learning interventions and evaluate their effectiveness.
Working within the learning and development team, you will help motivate, retain, and equip employees and those in the Community to deliver the business organisational strategy and objectives through effective learning.
The ideal person will have –
  • Experience of working in a learning & development/training function
  • Sound knowledge of adult learning theories and best practices.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: comfortable with senior stakeholders, questioning others when necessary.
  • Analytical skills in relation to people and data: e.g. asks good questions to pinpoint learning needs; can construct meaningful post-learning evaluations.
  • Comfortable with complexity, able to take briefs on unfamiliar technical topics.
  • Able to use eLearning platform and update web pages.
  • Organised, multi-tasker – able to manage more than one project concurrently.
  • Willing to learn, committed to own development and passionate about helping others learn.
Working Arrangements –
They are adopting a flexible-hybrid model which means that employees will work flexibly between a remote and office environment. 
Weekly visits to the office are required for most employees to support their values and collaborative culture and enable their teams to deliver great work.  For this role we anticipate that you will be required in the office at least 1-2 days per week
