Pure are delighted to be supporting our leading international Shipping & Logistics client, with the recruitment of a Inside Sales Executive. Offering the most advanced sustainable transport solutions across Europe and beyond, this is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a leading organisation. This post demands a proactive individual to support a busy Sales team with quotations, account management and the follow-up of new business leads. It also calls for effective skills in terms of analysing sales statistics, and an understanding of social media and marketing platforms.

Monday to Friday
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk

Key Responsibilities:

Your core task in this role is to manage a portfolio of new and existing customers, always with an eye for business growth and improvements.This requires you to support the Sales team by reviewing customer performance data and identifying potential improvements. Based on your analysis, you will be required to approach existing and potential customers with new business proposals.

This involves a number of detailed tasks including:
  • Reacting rapidly to customer quote requests.
  • Maintaining and managing the company social media presence.
  • Using external data sources to identify new market opportunities.
  • Problem solving and resolution.
Results are key and you will need to be a flexible self-starter who can re-prioritise as the day develops. As you learn the business you will be given more and more autonomy. There is every chance that you will join strategic projects, as the organisation forms plans to enter a new market space in the transport sector. In doing so you will work with the rest of the sales team to identify new opportunities and translate that into action and ultimate success.

There will be occasional travel as required within the UK and to our company HQ in Rotterdam. It may be possible to work from home some of the time.

Formal Experience Required:
  • Degree or equivalent through experience.
  • Computer literate with regards to the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word etc).
  • Awareness and understanding of social media platforms.
  • Business generation skills including cold calling, warm leads etc.
  • Fluent written and spoken English, with any other language(s) an advantage.
