We are delighted to be supporting our client within the education sector in their recruitment of a HR Manager. Reporting into the HR Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of HR policies, employee relations casework and providing HR support to colleagues and Managers. 

Key Responsibilities 
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team in implementing HR policies in all areas including workforce planning, performance management and equality and diversity 
  • Manage and process case work in line with company policies and employment legislation 
  • Support the HR Director in promoting a culture that aligns with the company strategy 
  • Assist in managing the work of HR staff ensuring the team are working efficiently 
  • Provide reports and make recommendations to the senior leadership team 
Key skills required 
  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) is required 
  • A detailed understanding of HR functions, practice and procedure in a modern environment 
  • Experience of change management 
  • Thrives in a fast paced environment with changing priorities 
  • Payroll experience is desirable but not essential
