The role will be focussed on providing general HR advice and support to managers with their decision making processes across all areas of employee relations, recruitment & onboarding, policy & procedures and TUPE. Along with day to day HR duties the role also encompasses general legal advice in terms of contract law and general business principles as well as regulatory advice that is specific to the organisation's industry with the aim to support the group to achieve their business objectives. Under current COVID-19 guidelines, the role will be based from home working and report into the Business Manager.
The successful candidate will be CIPD Level 5 qualified, flexible, have the ability to manage a varied workload and adapt to timelines and change to support the business. An interesting dynamic to the role is that the HR Advisor will be involved in providing support perhaps wider in breadth than within a traditional HR function so a general interest in business with a strong commercial bias would be advantageous. Problem solving and an ability to think outside of the box is critical to the success of the role as it being able to adapt the style and delivery of advice and support across all levels of the organisation.
