I have been tasked through my client who is recruiting for a HR Advisor/Generalist on a 3-5 month Fixed Term Contract temporary assignment with Immediate start offering hybrid working. The role is offering a competitive salary, range of fantastic benefits and the opportunity to develop your HR career in a fast growth reputable company. 


The HR Advisor/ Generalist will be responsible for assisting the VP of People in executing HR policies and initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with the rest of the People team consisting of the VP of People, US HR staff, and the Global Facilities Director to help deliver a professional People service to the organisation. 

This role will suit an individual who has experience working in fast-paced small to medium sized companies with a track record of execution and teamwork.

About the role:
  • Report to the VP of People
  • Administer HR related matters; including referencing, invite and outcome letters, probationary periods, and maternity/other leave requests
  • Maintain HR systems and administration (e.g., BambooHR, Workable, Small Improvements); including staff records, holidays, and sickness
  • Organise and coordinate the recruitment and selection of new staff including; coordinating preparation of job descriptions, shortlisting candidates, interviewing and assisting with the selection of candidate
  • Set up personnel files and run inductions for new staff
  • Keep the employee handbook up to date in line with current legislation
  • Maintain HR policies
  • Coordinate and be involved with annual performance and pay reviews
  • Working with Office Administrators to fulfill office managements duties
  • Be the first contact for team members regarding office/HR, and purchase-related queries
  • Proactively recognise any new compliance matters relevant to the business
  • Continuously communicate HR policies, practices, and changes to UK staff

Requirements

Essentials:
  • Previous experience within an HR team (1-3 years plus experience)
  • Proactive and dynamic
  • Strong knowledge of Google Suite and MS Office packages.
  • Knowledge of software-based ATS, HR, and purchasing systems.

Desirable:
  • CIPD Qualification Experience
  • Liaising with HR departments across sites.
