Due to growth and a number of key HR Projects a newly created permanent role of HR Advisor has arisen working for one of the longest established charitable organisations in the UK.

Working as part of a small HR team of 3, this will be a busy and varied HR role which will work closely with various stakeholder groups including; head office employees, senior leadership team, volunteers and regional delivery teams.
As the role is quite wide-ranging it will need someone who is comfortable communication with Directors and Senior Leaders but also happy to provide support with administration if required.

Key duties will include;
  • Writing, rewriting and update HR Policies
  • Producing and amending contracts
  • Leading on recruitment
  • Advising on employee relations queries
  • Providing advice and guidance to Managers and employees on best practice
  • Improve HR processes
  • Advise on pay and benefits
  • Work closely with the HR Manager on key HR Projects 
  • Work closely with Payroll with any changes to contracts
Key skills and experience required;
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • A natural problem solver
  • Ideally experience of working in a charitable or not for profit organisation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience of working in an HR Advisory or Senior Coordinator role
