We are pleased to be working with a rapidly expanding business based in Basildon who are seeking a helpdesk technician to join their growing division.
 
What is the role?
  • Review logged calls and triage appropriately.
  • Remotely resolve customer issues and escalate internally if a field engineer needs to be deployed.
  • Gather and log information concisely and accurately
  • Manage customer expectations through clear and consistent communication
  • Provide out of hours cover on a rota’s basis
 
What do you need?
  • Previous experience within a helpdesk/technical support environment or a relevant recognized qualification in an IT related subject matter.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office applications and have knowledge of IT systems/portals and have a naturally inquisitive technical aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate verbally and in writing with confidence and clarify.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy
