Salary£32000 - £36000 per annum
I am recruiting for a Health and Safety Officer to join my client based in Wymondham.  This is a full time, permanent role and an immediate start date is available for the right candidate.  

Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, duties include: 

  • Review Health and Safety policies and records 
  • Produce Health and Safety policies as required 
  • Undertake inspections 
  • Meeting with the Health and Safety Manager and COO on a monthly basis to review matters, plans and policies 
  • Provide advice and guidance to one off events that may present a higher risk 
  • Delivering Health and Safety reports at meetings when required 
  • Carry out Health and Safety investigations and risk assessments at multi sites.  
  • Any other Health and Safety related duties which may arise 

Requirements for the role: 

  • Proven experience of working in a Health and Safety environment 
  • A Health and Safety qualification would be preferred 
  • Have a sound understanding of Risk Management 
  • Able to work on own initiative with an analytical approach 
  • Good IT skills and experience managing a database 
  • Current driving license

The successful candidate will be based from the office in Wymondham, however will spend time out and about each day where required so being able to work across multi sites is a must.
