Pure are delighted to be working exclusively with BEAT Eating Disorders in the appointment of a Head of HR to lead their team.
At Beat, the team share the vision of an end to the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. They are inspired by the people they serve, by the difference they can make, and by their commitment to each other.
To make that vision a reality, they need to be bold. It takes a particular courage for their beneficiaries to ask for help. And the team at BEAT need to be courageous in return – being proactive in seeking new opportunities, embracing new ways of working, and challenging things that are preventing the vision from becoming a reality. As the new Head of HR, you will play a key role in supporting this vision.
The person….
You will be an experienced HR professional, ideally a chartered member of the CIPD, who has managed a small HR team before, is credible, approachable, able to balance the strategic and the day to day. You will be comfortable being part of the leadership team and balancing that with rolling your sleeves up to participate in the operational day to day generalist HR work. You will of course be comfortable taking responsibility for your own workload and delivering effective outcomes. You will be approachable, knowledgeable about employment law and - more importantly - its practical application. You will have a good understanding of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion in the workplace and more importantly methods to develop this.
This is a full time role working 34 hours over 4 days. You will be based from home with a regular presence at the Head Office in Norwich. With other sites across the UK some travel will be required so a driving licence and access to a car is required.
