We are proud to be the recruitment partner for Cambridge University Press and & Assessment who are a global employer of choice. Operating across 170 countries, this newly formed integrated organisation is looking for a talented commercially astute Senior HR Professional who understands the challenges and complexities of transformation and change. The organisation has ambitious development growth plans, to providing world leading services to their market.
The change journey continues with the planned integration of three business units into a new Schools Product Group. A position for a Head of People Partnering has been created to lead a dedicated partnering team through this transformation programme and beyond, working closely with the product group senior leadership team and an integration programme team to deliver the transformational change and establish a world class operation.
As a senior member of the People Team, reporting the Director of Partnering and Reward, you will have the support and resources of a professional and expert shared service function which includes Change Management, Organisation Development, Communications, Talent Acquisition and Reward, to help you create a sustainable Schools partnering function for the future.
As an HR Leader, you will have the ability to lead people through a change programme with empathy and collaboration. You will be a natural coach who enjoys people development as well as strategic HR initiatives and operational HR delivery.
Partnering at board level, you will have the ability to think strategically and translate what the business needs into operational HR delivery.
You will be an enabler of strategic and transformational change, through people, providing expertise in relation to workforce planning, organisational design, employee relations, talent and performance management, diversity and inclusion, and local employment law.
- You have demonstrable international experience which could have been gained across a range of sectors/organisations, partnering with a number of countries across the globe.
- Partnering and providing senior leadership and stakeholder management to board level or equivalent.
- You have led or supported significant transformational programmes, preferably through integration or merger.
- You are experienced in strategic workforce planning, organisational design, talent and performance management and employment law.
- You are commercially focused and have the flexibility and resilience to work in complex and ambiguous situations.
