Currently recruiting a Financial Controller for our client based in Haverhill. As Financial Controller, you will be the key provider of management information for the business and responsible for maintaining accurate financial records within the Group. You will provide strategic financial guidance and support to senior management, actively participate in financial planning and analysis, and drive the development and implementation of financial controls and processes. The Financial Controller will lead the Finance team and collaborate across the business to optimise financial performance and contribute to key business decisions. This exciting role would suit a fully qualified Accountant with Industry or Practice experience seeking a Financial Controller role with autonomy and career development opportunities.
You will manage and develop a high-performing finance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and training as needed. Collaborate with operational teams to develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations for performance improvement. Manage the Office Support team via the Team Leader, actively promoting process efficiency within this team, and having responsibility for the Sales Order book. Manage the Procurement team, actively promoting process efficiency within this team, and having responsibility for the Purchase Order book.
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent. The client offer a hybrid working approach.
