We are currently supporting a family run business in North Essex with their recruitment of a Finance Manager. This is a hybrid, full time position however, flexible hours can be considered.
It is a standalone finance role, managing the entire finance function.
  • Purchase and sales ledger responsibilities
  • Credit control, while building and maintain long term relationships
  • Regular reconciliations
  • Monitoring cashflow
  • Journals for weekly wages, monthly salary, accruals, prepayments etc
  • Maintaining Fixed Asset register
  • Control and management of all control accounts
  • Monthly management accounts
  • Management project accounting processes
  • Preparation & calculation of VAT returns
  • Additional bookkeeping duties as designated by management
Skills required:
  • An experienced bookkeeper who has proven ability to maintain the company’s financial transactions.
  • Strong Excel skill
  • A creative & flexible approach to their work
  • Proven experience of showing initiative and teamwork and has a "can do" attitude.
  • Great attention to detail and an ability to implement improvements
  • Strong communication skills
