Salary£26000 - £28000 per annum
We are delighted to be working within a leading business based in Newmarket as they seek to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their team. This role has come available due to someone moving on from the business, and within this role you will report into the Finance Manager. This role offers hybrid working after an initial settling in period, with the opportunity to work from home up to 2 days per week.

As the incoming candidate, you will play a pivotal role within the team and be tasked with the following responsibilities:
- Purchase Ledger invoicing
- Bank reconciliations
- Weekly income and expenditure reporting 
- Dealing with any queries
- Monthly accruals and prepayments
- Additional ad hoc duties as required

As the incoming candidate, it is paramount that you have experience working in a similar level accountancy role before, and possess good knowledge of bank reconciliations and accruals and prepayments. You will also possess good excel and system skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to communicate well both in a written and verbal manner.
