Finance Assistant
 
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with a leading organisation based in Chelmsford, they are looking for a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis.
 
There is parking onsite, working hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm and discretionary bonuses
 
Key Responsibilities as follows:
 
  • Processing purchase ledger invoices
  • Matching with purchase orders
  • Credit notes
  • Overseeing the automatic process
  • Dealing with queries
  • Processing expenses
  • Supplier statements
  • Payment runs
  • Monthly review of Aged Creditors List
  • Handle sales ledger customer accounts enquiries by telephone and in person at the counters
  • Take payments over the phone and in person at the counters and process to the accounts system
 
Key Requirements for the role:
  • QBE or studier
  • Previous experience with purchase ledger invoice processing at a high volume
  • Attention to detail
  • PC/IT literate including MS Office skills
  • Thoroughness
  • Team player
  • Flexible approach to tasks, roles and priorities
