 An expanding business in Brentwood are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their growing team, for an initial 12-month FTC. 

This is a great opportunity to gain varied experience within a busy finance department.

Duties will include:
  • Bank transaction processing and reconciliation
  • Raising sales invoices and undertaking credit control duties
  • Processing deposits and completion transactions
  • Balance sheet reconciliation preparation and variance analysis
  • Checking and distribution of monthly cost reports
  • Submission of monthly CIS submissions
  • Weekly cashflow forecasts
  • Coordination of payment request forms, ensuring accuracy and sufficient authorisation,
  • Assisting in the preparation of schedules as required by Group Finance
  • Supporting the Finance Team in the month-end close processes
 
To be successful you will need:
  • AAT studier/AAT qualified
  • Previous experience within an account’s role
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Willingness to learn and progress
  • Proactive and organised work ethic
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communicator, working well with both with finance and non-finance colleagues
  • Ability to work as an effective team member
