Pure are currently recruiting for a part time Finance and Operations Manager for a growing business based on the outskirts of Cambridge in Waterbeach. They are the UK’s leading outsourced, specialist VAT advisory organisation and are entering into an exciting period of growth.
The successful candidate will play a key part in leading how the business operates and the culture of the company.
As the Finance and Operations Manager this role will report into the COO and will be tasked with ensuring the efficient and effective running of the finance, IT, HR and health and safety framework of the business.
This position is part time ideally between 3-4 days a week which can be worked on a hybrid basis, the hours can be flexible for the right candidate. Alongside a competitive salary this role offers an excellent benefits package which includes a bonus scheme.

- Develop and implement all financial modelling, forecasting and reporting
- Lead the management accounting and year end accounting processes
- Proactively monitoring and planning of all cashflow including a short, medium and long term strategy.
- Responsible for outsourced payroll and pensions process
- Ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are met including VAT and corporation tax returns
- Report on the financial position of the business to the senior leadership team
- Create and maintain budgets for all corporate services
- Oversee management of IT and HR functions, working with the outsourced provider
- Responsibility for ensuring all corporate policies and procedures are up to date and in line with business needs.
- Management of the office lease and associated insurance and overall health and safety.
