The role can be partially remote, with time spent in either Essex or Southampton sites.
They are looking to onboard and integrate new ecommerce clients on to their current Warehouse Management Systems and 3rd party applications, to seamlessly manage and automate stock ordering and dispatch. They have integration tools already in place however in some instances you will be required to develop solutions for data transfer and validation using EDI's, API's etc. There will also be a requirement to build reports to demonstrate the current workflow, inputs, outputs etc to provide insights and opportunities for growth and improvement.
As a new role and business venture, it means that as they grow and onboard more clients you will be the lead within this area which presents opportunities for your career as they bring in more people around you.
Experience with some of the below would be advantageous;
EDI or API Development and client integrations using FTP
SQL scripting and reporting using visualisation tools
Use of mapping tools for integration or experience in developing integrations or web services
Sector experience Freight Management, Logistics or Warehousing
ERP experience developing integrations
