An exciting opportunity to join a leading organisation, who are passionate about supplying innovative products to businesses around the UK. My client is seeking a Purchasing Administrator, who will be passionate about numbers and negotiating, and will be responsible for general duties within the purchasing department. This role will involve sourcing new suppliers and building relationships. With offices across the UK, you will be joining an established and successful company, who continue to grow. The ideal individual will be focused, have excellent communication and administration skills, as well as an approachable nature.

Hybrid working available - Offices located on the outskirts of Ipswich Town Centre
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing back-order fulfillment
  • Creating parts codes
  • Updating system prices, using a CRM
  • Chasing overdue Purchase Orders
  • Updating due dates from suppliers
  • Checking order confirmations match PO numbers
  • Updating the set re-order points on the system, as demand for a product changes
  • Resolving accounts queries
Essential Skills & Capabilities:
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to work using own initiative
  • Collaboration
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Highly responsive with an ability to organise time and work effectively
  • Effective problem solver
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
