This role will have mixed responsibility between running the day-to-day account’s function and more general administration based tasks to support the overall office function. This is a part time position working up to a maximum of 25 hours per week, and the company is flexible around how these hours are worked.
The main duties of the position are as follows –
- Responsibility for ensuring the smooth running of accounts to include but not limited to, bank reconciliations, credit control, sales and purchase ledger invoicing, cashflow, monthly and quarterly VAT returns, monitoring the income and expenditure, liaising with official bodies such as HMRC.
- Supporting the management team with both finance and nonfinance related projects and tasks.
You will ideally hold level 3 AAT Certificate in Bookkeeping or offer equivalent proven experience, have good knowledge of Xero and strong administration skills. You must be self-motivated, flexible, enjoy multi-tasking and working as part of a small, but close knit team.
