To support our clients continuing growth, we are looking for an Office Assistant to join their team. This position will play a pivotal role in running the day-to-day finance and facilities functions of a busy office. This is a full-time, office based permanent position based in their Cambridge office and will report to the Head of Finance. The hours are weekdays from 8:30am to 5:00pm (37.5 hours per week).

Responsibilities:
  • Point of contact for external visitors to the site
  • Order refreshments for weekly staff meetings
  • Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
  • Process purchase orders
  • Assist with supplier payment run process and resolve supplier invoice queries
  • Provide input for internal process improvements
  • Coordinate lab coat laundry service and deal with waste removal
  • Ad hoc duties as required
About You (Skills and Experience):
  • Motivated, self-starter. You bring a sense of urgency to the work that you do and can execute on tasks by using your initiative.
  • Organised and diligent with activities
  • Good time keeping skills and ability to meet timelines
  • Experience with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Experience working with an electronic documentation system is highly desirable
  • Basic IT troubleshooting skills is advantageous
