Accounts Assistant/ Senior Finance Assistant

Pure are working for a rapidly growing business in Tilbury looking for an Assistant Accountant/ Senior Finance Assistant to join their finance team. This is a great opportunity for somebody looking to develop in an expanding business.


 Responsibilities iinclude:

• Responsible for month end process for assigned companies including preparing accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations 

• Assist with preparation of the monthly management reporting to a high standard including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and working capital 

• Assist head of finance with the preparation of monthly reporting, budgets and forecasts for central cost centres 

• Assist head of finance with the various external audits 

• Daily execution of operational treasury matters including invoice discounting financing reporting and bank payments 

• Preparation and reporting of rolling cash flow forecasts and daily cash management 

• Other project and ad hoc duties as required

 
 
Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential

• Experience in a similar role
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

• Part qualified accountant or significant experience
• Experienced in accounting systems
• Excellent inter-personal skills and be able to work as part of a cross-functional team

 
Desirable

• Experience of Microsoft Dynamics
